Penelope ★★★★★

My daughter picked this out herself and now insists on all five stories before bed every single night. The swaying motion while it reads is oddly soothing, even I catch myself listening.

The glowing eyes really do draw my son in — he'll sit through all five stories without a single complaint, which never happens. I was worried the swaying motion would feel gimmicky, but it's oddly soothing and he's started asking for it at bedtime.

My niece begs for Sir Frederick every night now, and the glowing eyes during each of the five stories keep her totally hooked. The little sway as he reads makes it feel like he's really telling the tale.
