Carrie the Cowgirl Capybara: Care & Play Tips

Quick Answer

To keep your Carrie the Cowgirl Capybara plush looking its best, spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry. For play, embrace her chill cowgirl personality with pretend trail rides and bath-time adventures.

Care & Play Steps

1. Spot Clean Only: Use a damp, soft cloth with a tiny drop of mild soap to gently rub any dirty spots on Carrie's fur or outfit. Avoid soaking the plush. Common mistake: Never submerge or machine wash Carrie; it can ruin her shape and fabric.
2. Air Dry Completely: After spot cleaning, lay Carrie flat on a towel in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat or sunlight. Fluff her fur gently with your fingers when dry. Checkpoint: Make sure she's fully dry before storing or playing again to prevent mildew.
3. Play Cowgirl Adventures: Pretend Carrie is on the trail with a toy horse or bandana. Since she loves water, set up a safe 'hot spring' play area with a shallow bowl of water (supervised). Avoid messy play like mud or glue that can stain her permanently.
4. Store in a Clean, Dry Spot: Keep Carrie on a shelf or in a toy bin away from dust and moisture. If storing long-term, use a breathable fabric bag. Checkpoint: Don't store her in plastic bags—trapped moisture can cause damage.
